NCBE hosted a mini-seminar for new bar admission administrators at its Madison headquarters on September 19, 2017. This marks the tenth such mini-seminar offered by NCBE since 2008. These mini-seminars are designed to educate new administrators about significant issues pertaining to bar admissions, including the need for test security, and to familiarize them with the NCBE resources available to them.
Program content included the following: NCBE’s services related to testing, investigations, and technology; test administration and security; ADA testing accommodations; scoring, grading, and the basics of measurement; NCBE educational opportunities and publications; and the function of the Council of Bar Admission Administrators (CBAA). The program ended with a question-and-answer session and open discussion.
