Now that I have my passing MPRE score, what do I do with it?

First off, congratulations! You can double-check your jurisdiction’s minimum passing score for the MPRE at www.ncbex.org/jurisdictions.

For most examinees, there is nothing more you need to do to ensure your score makes it to your juris-diction. When you registered for the exam, you chose a jurisdiction to receive your score automatically when scores were released. If the jurisdiction you chose is where you are applying, then you are set! If you are unsure, you can check what jurisdiction you sent your score to in your MPRE registration confirmation, which is in your NCBE Account File Cabinet.

How do I send my score to another jurisdiction?

If you need to send your MPRE score to another jurisdiction, the process is quick and simple. Log in to your NCBE Account and order a MPRE Score Report from the Score Services section.

A MPRE Score Report sends one score of your choosing (highest, most recent, or other specific score) to one or more jurisdictions. MPRE score reports are $30 each, and reports are sent the next business day by NCBE staff.

For more information on MPRE score services, visit our website here: www.ncbex.org/score-services/mpre-score-services.

What if the jurisdiction says it never received my MPRE score?

Not a problem! NCBE staff are here to help you if you have any issues transferring or sending your score to a jurisdiction. You can contact NCBE staff here: www.ncbex.org/contact.

How long will I have my MPRE score?

MPRE scores will only be visible in your account until the next MPRE administration, so we recommend printing or saving your score document in some way. MPRE scores remain valid for as long as your jurisdiction will accept them and can still be transferred after they are no longer visible in your account. To check your jurisdiction’s MPRE requirements, visit reports.ncbex.org /comp-guide/charts/chart-6/ for UBE jurisdictions and reports. ncbex.org/comp-guide/charts/chart-10/ for non-UBE jurisdictions.

What if I don’t have my MPRE score anymore?

You can order a MPRE Unofficial Score Transcript from your NCBE Account to see all your MPRE scores. The transcript is $30 and will be uploaded to your NCBE account on the next business day.

Note that an unofficial score transcript is solely for your records/information, and it cannot be used to report your score to a jurisdiction.
